The Family Stones originated as an Oregon based Lapidary supply company. TFS was formed in 2018 by John Cooke. Since then, John himself has been on a constant quest pursuing leads and making connections. These connections have enabled John to expand his collection and offer lapidary material, minerals, various fossil specimens and finished stone gifts at below fair market value. Over the years John has not only been able to procure stones for the lapidary supply company, But he has also managed to forge a couple more entities with his fire.

The Polka Dot Agate mine is Located just outside of Madras Oregon off of NE Pony Butte Rd on the right hand side about 1/3 of a mile WEST of the T in the road with NE Wilson Creek RD.
